Teledyne Isco Signature Flow Meter

The Signature flow meter is designed for open channel flow monitoring applications. It supports flow measurement technologies, including bubbler, Non-contact Laser Area Velocity, Submerged Doppler Ultrasonic Area Velocity and Ultrasonic. This meter can calculate flow using standard open channel level-to-flow and area velocity conversions, as well as user-defined equations, level to area data points or level to flow data points, depending on your application needs.

The Signature flow meter has unique features to verify data integrity. It logs key events such as changes in calibration and power outages to validate data accuracy. Your data can be easily reviewed to detect any type of data alteration. With multiple smart interface options and multi-parameter logging (such as pH), the Signature flow meter provides a common platform for control action, reporting and communication.

Multiple flow technologies are available so you can select the best flow technology for your measurement site and channel conditions. Available technologies are bubbler, ultrasonic, continuous wave area velocity and non-contacting LaserFlow velocity.

With the new DuraTracker flowmeter, Isco has built upon the market leading 2100 portable logger by adding expanded capabilities into a proven product solution.


The DuraTracker flowmeter is the most efficient and reliable flow monitoring solution on the market today for a wide range of open channel flow measurement applications. It supports flow measurement technologies including non-contact laser area velocity, submerged Doppler area velocity, and ultrasonic. The flowmeter calculates flow using standard open channel level-to-flow and area velocity conversions, user defined equations, level to area data points, or level to flow data points. The DuraTracker package cost-effectively integrates cellular communications and multiple flow technologies within a single module. The standard Bluetooth capabilities make the programming, sensor calibration, and data retrieval job easy through wireless devices. A field upgradable remote cell phone communication option is also available.

The DuraTracker Ex flowmeter is designed for hazardous (Ex) areas classified as Class I, Div 1. Zone 0, ATEX Category 1G. It provides ideal flow measurement and remote communication solutions for wastewater collection systems. The DuraTracker Ex flowmeter is the most efficient and reliable flow measurement solution on the market today for a wide range of open channel flow applications. It supports flow measurement technologies including non-contact laser area velocity, submerged Doppler area velocity, and ultrasonic.

Isco DuraTracker EX Flow Meter Data Sheet

2150 Area Velocity Module

The 2150 Flow Module uses continuous wave Doppler technology to measure mean velocity. The sensor transmits a continuous ultrasonic wave, then measures the frequency shift of returned echoes reflected by air bubbles or particles in the flow. 

The 2150 “smart” area velocity probe is built on digital electronics, so the analog level is digitized in the sensor itself to overcome electromagnetic interference. The probe is also factory-calibrated for 10-foot (3 meter) span at different temperatures. This built-in calibration eliminates drift in the level signal, providing long-term level stability that reduces recalibration frequency and completely eliminates span recalibration. 

In field use, the 2150 is typically powered either by two alkaline, or Teledyne ISCO Rechargeable Lead-acid batteries, within a 2191 Battery Module. Highly efficient power management extends battery life up to 15 months at 15-minute data storage intervals. Other power options (including solar) are available.
