Electromagnetic Flow Meters
Electromagnetic sensors use the Faraday Principle to measure the water speed. As a conductor (water) moves through an electromagnetic field (generated by the sensor), it generates a voltage that is measured by the sensor electrodes. Modern-day signal conditioning electronics and filtering techniques allow highly accurate measurements to be made.
A fully waterproof, electromagnetic insertion flowmeter that offers industry-standard performance coupled with robust build quality and reliability, all backed up by Teledyne’s exceptional customer service and support.
The same performance and reliability as the standard Type 804 insertion flowmeter powered by a 12 to 28V DC external power supply as well as a single, internal battery to cover power outages.
The Model 801 EM Electromagnetic Current Meter measures the speed of water in open channel environments with exceptional accuracy. The smaller sampling volume of the flat sensor makes it suitable for shallow flows, or measurements in confined spaces.
